Skill Development

'Right Skilling' the National Youth

Talent Management is the top most concern the CEOs worry about today. [Harvard Business Review, https://hbr.org/]. For a country like India, very low Human Development and Education Indices [http://hdr.undp.org/en/statistics] indicate how challenging the task is ahead of the policy makers, the educationists, and the society as a whole.

To make the matters further challenging, the market liberalization, privatization & globalization policy of our country has rendered the ‘degree certificates’ merely an indispensable minimum condition for any progression of students in their life, far from being sufficient. Rapidly growing expectations of industry and global competition have increased the challenges by multi-fold for the educational institutions as well as the students graduating from them.

Efforts for increasing merely the ‘degree holders’ should therefore be combined with efforts to increase the quality and relevance of education system. A qualitative shift is needed from routine memorization of academics to development of “Capable, Globally Competent Youth, and Responsible Citizens’.

An educational institution would want 100% success in some select State or National examination, or like to outpace the competition from other educational institutions, while an individual parent would want their child come out with flying colours not only in academics but also in extra academic examinations and competitions.

To facilitate fulfill these / such expectation and wishes of educational institutions as well individual parents, Entelki has developed, as part of their Skills and Competency Development Model, Peritia © , variety of Plans ranging from a full year ‘Holistic Child Development Plan’, to short term two-to- three months’ ‘Individual Skill Development’ plans.

You can choose among the following “Skills and Competency Development Plans” the one that is most appropriate for your needs and ambitions.
